We respect your right to be forgotten. Here's how you can permanently remove your data from InternshipUncle.

Section 01

How to Delete via App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the InternshipUncle Android app. This ensures your identity is verified through your active session.

Open Settings

Launch the app and go to the More tab (bottom right), then tap on Settings.

Select Account Deletion

Tap on Manage Account and select Delete My Account.

Confirm Permanence

Review the warning and confirm. Your account will be immediately deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion.

What Happens Next?

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once processed, you will lose access to all your progress, saved jobs, and generated resumes.

When you request deletion, the following actions take place within 7 days:

  • Your personal profile (name, email, skills) is permanently erased from our database.
  • All uploaded resume files in our storage buckets are permanently deleted.
  • Your mock interview history, analyzed job descriptions, and AI feedback are removed.
  • Your connection to third-party services (like Google Sign-In) is severed.

Data Retention

In accordance with legal requirements and security best practices, we may retain certain non-identifiable information for a limited period:

  • Aggregated Logs: Anonymized usage data used for service improvement.
  • Legal Records: Information required for tax, audit, or legal compliance (e.g., transaction records if applicable).
  • Security Logs: Essential security logs to prevent fraud or abuse (purged after 90 days).

Please include your full name and the email address used for registration. We will process your request and confirm via email within 48 hours.
